The Honors Recital is by invitation only. To be eligible to perform, a student must have earned the level of “Honorable Performance” from a judge at an SPPTA recital at some point during the current school year. About one month prior to the Honors Recital, the SPPTA Recital Chair will reach out to the teachers of these students to invite the students to participate and provide additional information about the event.
All students that received an "Honorable Performance" from the judge in the Virtual Recitals during the year will have their performance videos included in the Virtual Recital on June 9th. Students that are unable to perform in-person, due to conflicts in schedule, are welcome to submit their video for the Virtual Honors Recital.
