STUDENT RECITAL PROGRAM

Student Recital Program

The student recital program enables students to perform for and listen to other students in a formal setting. Each student receives a written critique and credit toward earning a ribbon, medal or trophy. The SPPTA recital program is non-competitive. 


Awards program: 

 LEVEL 1: 3 performances - ribbon, 6 performances - medal, 9 performances - trophy

LEVEL 2: 12 performances - ribbon, 15 performances - medal, 18 performances - trophy

LEVEL 3: 21 performances - ribbon, 24 performances - medal, 27 performances - trophy

LEVEL 4: 30 performances - ribbon, 33 performances - medal, 36 performances - trophy, etc...


Ways to earn point towards an award:

1) SPPTA Recital Performance

2) SPPTA Honors Recital Performance

3) SPPTA Masterclass Audition

4) Participant in the SPPTA Masterclass

5) SPPTA Concerto Competition


SPPTA invites teachers of all instruments including voice to register their students in the recital program for solo, duo and small ensemble performances. (no organ is available) 


TWO CHOICES FOR RECITAL REGISTRATION:

REGISTRATION ONLINE: To register your student for a recital online, please click the button below. Fill out the online form and submit the participation fee using the PayPal button.

 

REGISTRATION BY MAIL:   If you prefer, you can mail in the completed registration form, participation fee, and a self-addressed stamped envelope to the recital programmer by the deadline.  The form to download is at the bottom of this page, and the address of the programmer can be found in the SPPTA Membership List on the SPPTA  Members Only Page.  If you are not a member and need the programmer address, please contact  info@sppta.org.

All students who receive Honors in an SPPTA recital may have their performance video included in the Virtual Honors Recital. Students may also participate in the in-person Honors Recital. Students with scheduling conflicts for the in-person recital are invited to submit videos for the Virtual Honors Recital.
